Minneapolis, MN (August 21, 2015) — Global restaurant technology leader WAND Corporation attended Wendy’s annual Charity Classic to support Wendy’s Wonderful Kids and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption last week. The golfing and fundraising event was held in Jackson, Michigan from August 9-10 and was organized by Stanton and Associates.

“Wendy’s is an organization devoted to give back to the community,” said Randy Israel, co-owner of Stanton and Associates. “I look forward to this event every year as it’s a wonderful way to support great causes while spending time with our valued partners like WAND.”

WAND was one of several Wendy’s partners to participate in the event, which was held in association with the LPGA Legends Tour to raise funds for adoption. The event included golf, a silent auction and a live auction. To-date, the charity pro-am has raised more than $2.25 million since its inception in 1999.

“This year’s event was a great success. In fact, we raised more at this event than we ever have at any previous event, which was very exciting,” says Israel. “We are glad to have strong partners like WAND who are happy to jump at the opportunity to support a cause as important as this.”

Wendy’s and WAND have been partnering for almost 30 years on Point of Sale, Digital Menu Boards and Back Office systems. More than 1,200 Wendy’s stores use WAND products to increase operational efficiency, drive ticket sales and delight customers.
