Minneapolis, MN (January 27, 2016) — Texas Dairy Queen and WAND will showcase advanced digital menu board capabilities at the upcoming Texas Dairy Queen Operators Conference. The three day conference, held in Houston Feb 14-17, brings together hundreds of Texas Dairy Queen operators to explore new frontiers and exciting possibilities. This is the second year WAND will be in attendance.
“This conference is one of the highlights of the year,” says Dave Perrill, President of WAND. “It’s the first time in 2016 we’ll be showcasing our digital menu board capabilities, and the fact that we’re able to do it with Texas DQ is awesome because they’ve done so many great things this year with their digital menus.”
Using WAND’s proprietary Total Restaurant Management (TRM) software, Texas DQ creates and manages its digital menus across multiple locations. With TRM they are able to see what content is playing at all locations and swap content out quickly as needed, allowing them to ensure greater brand compliance.
Franchisors signing up for digital menus are able to purchase hardware directly from WAND and display the most up-to-date promotions and LTOs instantly. Not only are the menus flexible and dynamic but they make it easy for restaurant operators to take the task of swapping out static menu boards off the hands of their front line managers.

At the conference, Red Spoon Marketing, the business unit that creates and manages digital menu content for Texas DQ operators, will lead a training session for operators showing them how to quickly swap content and promotions. Red Spoon Marketing will also share its newest round of digital menu content which is currently featured at all Texas DQs with digital menu boards.
