WAND Point-of-Sale Solutions Integrates Fingerprint Biometrics

DigitalPersona, Inc., a leader in fingerprint identity and authentication solutions announced that WAND corporation has integrated DigitalPersona technology into their NextGen POS and Classic POS solutions. WAND's quick-service customers will now be able to use fingerprint technology to reduce fraud and deter unauthorized manager overrides.
As restauranteurs look for biometrics as a way to increase security and efficiency they require a need for a PoS provider to offer such options.
