Moneris Certifies WAND for Credit and Debit Card Processing in Canada

Eden Prairie, Minnesota-June 21, 2010. WAND Corporation, the leading Point of Sale software provider for the Quick Service Restaurant industry, announced today that it has been certified with Moneris, a leading provider of payment processing solutions, for QSR franchisees in Canada. WAND NextGen POS® can now be integrated with credit and debit card processing.

Before this certification, register operators had to go back and forth between the POS terminal and the Moneris Pin Pad to complete each customer’s transaction. Now customers utilize the credit and debit card swipe on the Moneris Pin Pad attached to the POS terminal. With this newly integrated system, franchise operators will be able to process credit card and debit card transactions more quickly, with fewer errors and less opportunity for theft.

An integrated WAND NextGen POS system means 100 percent credit and debit card accountability and accuracy for franchisees. Additionally, the new integration allows consolidated reporting for credit and debit card transactions through the restaurant’s Back Office software.
